Selected Work
As a director, I build rehearsal rooms where artists feel empowered to explore, question, and create. I’m drawn to stories that uplift marginalized voices and challenge students and artists to engage with theatre as a tool for reflection, agency, and social impact.

String - a Virginia premiere
At Old Dominion University, I directed the Virginia premiere of String, music/lyrics by Adam Gwon, book by Sarah Hammond, reimagining the production with an expanded ensemble and welcoming several students into their first musical. The process included a virtual visit with the creators, conversations with Broadway and Hollywood professionals, and a collaborative team of nearly 50 artists bringing this new work to life.
The Revolutionists
At Old Dominion University, I directed Lauren Gunderson’s The Revolutionists, a sharp, small-cast comedy staged in a world of historical silhouettes—guillotines, wigs, and corsets of the French Revolution. The production explored what it means to claim a platform, to amplify others, and to risk truly sticking your neck out for change.

Dreams
Theatre that connects, inspires, and empowers—stories with heart, edge, and a spotlight on voices that deserve to be heard.
